ETH Wertstoffrecycling GmbH is an important part of the Hamburg-based ETH group of companies and its core business is the processing and trading of secondary recyclables.
One zentralized system
Until now, the company had been using various software products tailored to the respective areas. The goal of the implementation was, on the one hand, to merge the various "island solutions" into one central system and thus avoid redundant data maintenance. In addition, standardized and interlocking processes were to be used and consistent and meaningful reporting developed from the improved database.
Setup & Introduction
After successful implementation of the blueprint phase for recording the system-relevant processes and requirements, the release and joint project start took place. The COSIB team not only installed the SAP Business One software including the required add-ons (B1 Up, Datev, etc.) and all databases, but also took over the individual implementation support and training for the following, particularly focused modules:
- Financial accounting with local chart of accounts
- Extended G/L account determination
- Sales and distribution (order management)
- Business partners (customers, suppliers)
Projectcompletion in time
"The upstream blueprint phase enabled us to define the project requirements very precisely together with COSIB. The project and schedule based on this as well as the project budget were completed by the COSIB team on time and on budget. " explains Frank Rosenboom, Managing Director of ETH Wertstoffrecycling GmbH. "And also the positive feedback from the users afterwards further confirmed the successful project completion."
