How to use the SAP Business One-Amazon integration

The SAP Business One and Amazon connector can automate key business processes and streamline your business data efficiently. Which data is transferred differs depending on which Amazon seller account (FBA or FBM) you use.

 

SAP Business One und Amazon-Seller Central FBA

 

The following data can be synchronized between the two applications for users of an Amazon Seller Central account with fulfillment by Amazon:

Customer Data:

Synchronizing customer data
 
  • Customers are synchronized with all order and customer data from Amazon Seller Central with SAP Business One.

Product/Item:

Synchronize products
 
  • Items are synchronized by SAP Business One with Amazon Seller Central and marked as FBA items with a unique identifier.
 
  • Item attributes are updated from SAP Business One to Amazon Seller Central when a change occurs.
 
  • The prices are updated from SAP Business One to Amazon Seller Central, with the option of updating the special prices or promotional prices on Amazon.

Orders:

Synchronize orders
 
  • Amazon Seller Central orders are synchronized with SAP Business One as sales orders or AR/invoices.
 
  • Order information such as items, taxes, shipping fees, discounts from discount coupons are also synchronized from Amazon Seller Central with SAP Business One.

 

Shipping:

Shipping synchronization
 
  • Information and reports on outbound shipments are synchronized from Amazon Seller Central with SAP Business One into a virtual warehouse (this is used to manage inventory and track daily stock entries).

SAP Business One und Amazon-Seller Central FBM

 

The following data can be synchronized between the two applications for users of an Amazon Seller Central account without fulfillment by Amazon:

Customer Data:

Synchronize customer data
 
  • The customers are synchronized with all order and customer data with SAP Business One.

Product/Item:

Synchronize Products
 
  • Items are synchronized with Amazon Seller Central directly from the item master data in SAP Business One.
 
  • Item attributes are updated from SAP Business One to Amazon Seller Central as soon as a change occurs.
 
  • Price lists are updated from SAP Business One to Amazon Seller Central, with the ability to update the special or promotional prices on Amazon. (Price lists can be managed when a change occurs or a new price list is introduced very quickly).

Order:

Sychronize sales order
 
  • Amazon Seller Central orders are synchronized with SAP Business One as a sales order.
 
  • Order information such as items, taxes, shipping fees, discounts from discount coupons are also synchronized from Amazon Seller Central with SAP Business One.
Order processing
 
  • SAP delivery information can be synchronized from SAP Business One to Amazon Seller Central with tracking information and the carrier. (Email messages can be sent automatically to buyers).
 
  • Based on the SAP Business One delivery information, the order status is updated in Amazon Seller Central and customers are informed about the delivery.

Stock/Inventory:

Stock update
 
  • The inventory is synchronized by SAP Business One (warehouse by warehouse) with the Amazon Seller Central product inventory as soon as a change occurs.
 
  • You can select one or more stock quantities to be synchronized with Amazon Seller Central.

Shipping:

Shipping 
 
  • Information and reports on outbound shipments are synchronized from Amazon Seller Central with SAP Business One into a virtual warehouse (this is used to manage inventory and track daily stock entries).

Payment
 
  • Outgoing down payment invoices are created from Amazon orders with incoming payments in SAP Business One.
Amazon-fees
 
  • Amazon fees are segmented and shown separately with journal entries in SAP Business One.
Refunds
 
  • Credit notes are created in SAP Business One for all refunds created in Amazon Seller Central.
Shipping label
 
  • Amazon shipping labels in PDF format can be sent to 3PL providers for packaging as well as easy automation of delivery and fulfillment to customers to avoid late fees.
